A six-slot Neo Geo MVS becomes a living-room console

A six-slot Neo Geo MVS board is a spectacular piece of arcade hardware, but it was never designed to sit beneath a home television. In a video published on 18 October 2026, Luke Morse shows his consolized six-slot MVS setup—an arcade motherboard adapted for use as a self-contained gaming system.

The camera moves across the populated cartridge slots and the board’s enclosure, then lets the games’ attract sequences run. It is a useful look at the physical scale and practical appeal of keeping the original multi-cartridge arcade hardware in service, rather than replacing it with emulation. Morse says the motherboard came from Kenn and Jenn and that he converted it for this setup; the video is a showcase of the result, not a detailed build guide or electrical safety assessment.

The most striking part is the six cartridges lined up in one machine: a reminder that the MVS was built for an arcade operator’s game selection, not the single-slot routine of a living-room console. Watch the full 24-minute video on Luke Morse’s channel for the hardware tour and games in action.
